How To Upgrade the Adventure Pouch in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

Here's how to get a roomier Adventure Pouch so you can tote around more items.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD brings one of the more divisive Zelda entries to life on Nintendo Switch. We last saw it on the Wii U, and now it's been reborn with glorious, sharper graphics on the hybrid handheld/console. If you missed it the first time around, now's a great opportunity to jump in and give it a try.

One of the first, most important things you'll want to do while exploring the world of Skyward Sword is to familiarize yourself with the Item Check area. You'll be picking up plenty of stuff as you head out on your adventure, but Link won't always be able to hold it all.

So if you need to grab some more bomb bags or you just find yourself wanting to offload some stuff, the Item Check will soon become one of the areas you visit the most -- that is, until you upgrade your Adventure Pouch. If you want to be able to carry more goodies, you're going to have to put in the work to get an upgrade.

Luckily, we've got your back when it comes to figuring out how to accomplish just that. Here's everything you need to know.

If you want to carry more items in Skyward Sword, you've got to upgrade your Adventure Pouch. Overall, it can hold a total of eight items and can be upgraded four times.

To receive your first upgrade, you must head to The Deep Woods and seek out the first Goddess Cube you find there. Use Link's Skyward Strike melee attack on the Cube, and you'll find a Goddess Chest materializing outside the Lumpy Pumpkin on Pumpkin Landing. Open the chest, and you'll have your first upgrade, and more space!

Once you've received your first upgrade, you can then head to Beedle's Airshop and purchase the next three:

First Slot: 300 Rupees

Second Slot: 600 Rupees

Third Slot: 1200 Rupees

To hold all of these Rupees so you can make the above purchases, buy the second Adventure Pouch with the help of the Big Wallet for the second slot from Beedle, and then the Giant Wallet for your third slot.

Once you've completed all of these upgrades, you'll have the biggest Adventure Pouch possible. Now get out there and start adventuring!
