What aftermarket keycaps will work with Apex 5?

The SteelSeries Hybrid Mechanical Switches feature MX compatible stems, so most aftermarket keycaps will work. Additionally, the Apex 5 features a “standard” bottom row spacing for even greater compatibility. Be sure to check the specifications carefully before you purchase any replacement keycaps.

How does the SteelSeries Hybrid Blue Gaming switches differ from other keyboards?

Some competitors claim to be “hybrid” but are merely dressing up a membrane keyboard. SteelSeries hybrid switches are truly mechanical switches. They keep all the same parts that make a mechanical switch great: MX stems, spring, and high-quality materials. Read more about hybrid switches here.
