Want to queue onto a new battleground in The War Within? Here's the information you need about Deephaul Ravine and the map so you can outsmart your opponents.
WIth the release of The War Within, World of Warcraft's new expansion, there is another battleground: Deephaul Ravine.
This is a 10v10 battleground in WoW, featuring "payload" style gameplay where you need to escort a minecart.
Deephaul Ravine Overview
- Type of Map: 10v10 Payload-style Battleground (8v8 for Battleground Blitz)
- Location: The Ringing Deeps
- Levels: 71-80
- Victory Condition: First team to 1500 Points
Note that this map is for high level characters only, so you'll play it while leveling in The War Within and onward. In Battleground Blitzes, which are faster, alternate modes for PvP battlegrounds, there are only 8 players on each team.
Control one of two active mine carts that spawn on opposite sides of the map and follow tracks. Control these to keep gaining points, and then get even more for capturing one.
There is also another objective in the middle: Deephaul Crystal. This can be grabbed and returned to capture points on high ground on opposite ends of the map.
Additionally, there are tracks above that allow fast transportation to either ends of the map.

How to queue into Deephaul Ravine in WoW
While this battleground will pop up in random queue when you're level 71 and higher, you can queue for this specifically to try it out.
In the Group Finder, open the Player vs. Player tab, select your role, choose this battleground from the drop down list, and then queue up.
