GobbleGums can be the difference between life and death in Black Ops 6 Zombies, so follow our guide to ensure you’re picking the correct ones.
GobbleGums are one of the most popular features in Call of Duty Zombies. The powerful little treats were introduced in Black Ops 3 but mysteriously didn’t make a return in either Black Ops 4 or Cold War. Fortunately, developer Treyarch decided to bring back GobbleGums in Black Ops 6.
Since the launch of BO6, new GobbleGums have been added and their function has even changed. Instead of having to use a GobbleGum machine to earn your power-ups, you now have access to a few of them right from the start of round one. This makes it even more crucial to equip the right GobbleGums that allow you to escape a jam or progress an Easter Egg faster.
To see our list of the top five GobbleGums in Black Ops 6 Zombies, take a look at the entries below.
5. Cache Back
One of the most common problems to have during a match of Zombies is running out of ammo. Killing undead hordes is taxing work and takes up quite a bit of ammo, especially during the later rounds. While you can Pack-A-Punch your weapons to double your ammo reserves, not even that can save you from the inevitable “00” on your ammo counter.
Fortunately, you can use the Cache Back GobbleGum to instantly spawn a Max Ammo power-up. Let’s face it, whenever you need Max Ammo in Zombies, it doesn’t spawn. This GobbleGum allows you to bypass that dilemma and ensure you always have ammo when you need it. The GobbleGum also helps if you’re deep into an Easter Egg and no ammo boxes are nearby.
4. On The House
Running around the map to collect all of the perks in a given match of Zombies can take more rounds than you might think. The On The House GobbleGum gives you the chance to save some money and spawns a random perk in front of you. Of course, there’s a chance the random perk isn’t the one you’re looking for, but a free perk is better than nothing.
You can cheese your way to securing the perk you want by buying other perks before popping the GobbleGum. This gives you better odds to make the free On The House perk one that you want.
3. Hidden Power
In addition to Pack-A-Punching your weapons to tier three, you also need to continually upgrade their rarity if you want to keep up with later-round zombies. The maximum rarity is “Legendary” and the primary way to upgrade your weapons is through spending Salvage. Salvage is dropped by dead zombies and it’s quite time-consuming to gather enough to upgrade to Legendary rarity.
If you have the Hidden Power GobbleGum, though, you can completely skip that grind. The GobbleGum immediately upgrades your currently equipped weapon to Legendary rarity. Doing this in the early rounds make your weapon a killing machine, regardless of whether it’s Pack-A-Punched or not.
2. Phoenix Up
Sometimes, the entire match of Zombies rests on your shoulders. Your entire team goes down and they’re all relying on you to progress to the next round or continue on with an Easter Egg step. While you can try to play the hero, it’s easier if you just revive them all at once.
The Phoenix Up GobbleGum allows you to immediately revive any dead teammate. Not only that, but it also spawns teammates with all of their previously equipped perks. This is a huge boon and gives your teammates a chance to get right back into the action without skipping a beat.
1. Perkaholic
There’s really no other choice for the number one spot. Perkaholic was the best GobbleGum in Black Ops 3 and it remains the best in BO6. This GobbleGum immediately gives you access to every available perk on a Zombies map. If you can buy it from a perk machine or earn it on a map, Perkaholic gives it to you.
Perkaholic is an Ultra GobbleGum, as is Hidden Power, so it’s recommended to save these for when you really need them. You won’t be able to acquire too many Ultra GobbleGums in BO6, so keeping them ready for a long match or Easter Egg run is highly suggested.
And that wraps up our list of the five best GobbleGums you can use for your loadout in Black Ops 6 Zombies.
