How to Increase Your Chaos Level in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

Increase your Chaos Level for more challenging enemies and more satisfying loot.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands combines everything you love about the Borderlands series with the nerdy goodness of the tabletop phenomenon, Dungeons & Dragons. It's a looter-shooter that has a little something for everyone, including plenty of endgame content to keep you coming back for more, even if you've completed the main campaign.

Once you do so, you'll be able to access the "Chaos Chamber". Here, you'll battle your way through hundreds of randomized enemies in a battle of endurance until you're faced with a boss encounter. This roguelike-inspired mode also grants special buffs and abilities as well as additional missions and objectives. Make your way through these increased challenges in Tiny Tina's Bunkers & Badasses, alone or with friends.

To fully understand how you can get the most out of what the Chaos Chamber has to offer, you'll want to wrap your head around Chaos Levels. Chaos Levels determine the type of enemies you'll face off against as well as the quality of loot you'll be rewarded with when you complete a run. Here's how you can increase your Chaos Level so you can earn more loot and become the Bunkers & Badasses from your dreams.

How to increase your Chaos Level in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

Finding the option to alter the Chaos Level within Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

If you're ready to increase your Chaos Level for the Overworld or side quests in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, head to the town of Brighthoof on the world map. You'll have to make sure you've completed the main game first and have unlocked Chaos Level 1. After returning to Brighthoof, you’ll be able to increase or decrease Chaos Levels manually or turn them off entirely.

Go to the Main Menu and look at the tabs at the top of the screen. You should see Map, Journal, Inventory, Skills, Myth Rank, and Chaos Mode at the far rank. Tab all the way over to Chaos Mode, and you'll be met with two sliders on the left of your screen with a box beneath it that displays your character's stats. In the middle is a statue of your character. On the right side of the screen you'll see an information box that explains how what you're about to do will change the game. Be advised that changing the current Chaos Level will reload the zone you're currently in.

The more you raise your Chaos Level, the easier it will become to farm for better gear as you play through the game normally. The higher it goes, the easier of a time you'll have improving your character and customizing your build even further. Since the encounters you'll face off against are randomized, as is the loot you'll be rewarded with, you'll have to experiment with going out in the world and fighting different enemies to get the goodies you want.

If you find that you’re not doing as well as you anticipated, don’t be afraid to experiment by changing the Chaos Level at your convenience. You may find that you improve every single run you make by challenging yourself with more difficult enemies.

Practice makes perfect, so good luck and may you become the best Bunkers & Badasses character possible!
