FAQ

Does the GameDAC work with the Arctis 3 and Arctis 5?

The GameDAC is compatible with the original Arctis 3 and Arctis 5 headsets. It does not work with any Arctis Nova headsets.

I have a pair of audiophile headphones I want to use for gaming. Can I hook these up to the GameDAC?

Yes, the GameDAC includes a 3.5mm adapter that allows you to connect any headset or pair of headphones (recommended headphone impedance is 16 - 80 Ohms).

What makes the GameDAC sound better than a standard soundcard?

It’s all about the DAC! The GameDAC includes the ESS Sabre, a component found in numerous high-end audiophile products. This provides a much cleaner transition from digital to analog, and ultra accurate sound.

Does the GameDAC work with Xbox ONE?

You can receive audio from the Xbox over the optical connection, and can even use the DTS Headphone:X surround sound. But chat is not available directly.
