Weapons

Shield + Zonai Flame Emitter

It’s a great tool for crowd control, melting ice, and lighting fires.

Shield + Zonai Cannon

Another good idea for crowd control and catching enemies by surprise; just remember that it shoots in intervals.

Utility

Shield + Zonai Light

If you run out of lightbloom seeds, this is invaluable in getting around depths and dark caves. It reduces your mobility a little bit, but hey, life is the art of compromise!

Shield + Star Fragment

If you want a flashlight but don’t want to waste your batteries, try a star fragment! They not only bring you luck, but they also brighten up your day ;)

Shield + Bomb Flower

You’ve got a pretty big gap to leap over? Need to get somewhere above you? Want to surprise your enemies? Fuse a Bomb Flower with your shield!

Shield + Ruby

When venturing somewhere colder, we recommend fusing a Ruby to keep yourself warm if you don’t have a proper clothing. It’s not going to help with extreme cold, but it’s a good temporary solution.

Shield + Sapphire

If you want to chill for a moment, always keep sapphire around. Fuse it and don’t get too sweaty.

Shield + Zonai Cart

How to get around in style? We have an answer for that! Try fusing your shield with a Zonai Cart.

Shield + Minecart

If you ever played any skateboarding game, you’ll be delighted to know that you can get around Hyrule like a Hawk himself — just mount a mine cart to your shield! Doing so allows you to skate on rails with ease and style. You won’t have to power your cart with fans to move around. Just keep in mind that this will only work if you’re going downwards ;).

Shield + Zonai Rocket

Up, up, and away! If you have batteries to spare, use a Zonai Rocket to get away from trouble.
