Students, grab your four closest friends and gear up because SteelSeries is the official Peripheral Partner for Red Bull’s first-ever global university VALORANT competition.
Red Bull Campus Clutch is one of the biggest global university esports event to ever take place, and it offers university students the unique opportunity to compete in one of the fastest growing and most talked about games, VALORANT.
Interested players can create teams of 5 and compete for a chance to win their university a new gaming hub, €20,000, and a chance to see the biggest stars in VALORANT compete at the upcoming VALORANT Masters event, an official tournament within the 2021 Champions Tour.
How is SteelSeries involved?
Our team at SteelSeries is thrilled to be partnering with Red Bull Campus Clutch to bring this amazing event to life. We are serving as the official Peripheral Partner for the events around the world, equipping all national winning student teams with our award-winning gaming headsets, keyboards and mice.
Additional partners include AOC, who are providing performance gaming monitors for the event, and Intel, the Gaming PC Partner.
How do I participate?
If you’re a university student (18 years or older) interested in forming a team, check out the Red Bull Campus Clutch event page to find out if and when qualifiers take place in your country. Over 300 universities in more than 50 countries are taking part in Red Bull Campus Clutch.
Not all players need to be from the same school; teams can consist of players from different universities, but must be from the same country.
Where to watch
The World Final will be streamed live on Red Bull’s Twitch. Our SteelSeries team will be there experiencing the most exciting moments, and we’ll make sure to keep you updated on how to follow along.
What is VALORANT?
In case you aren’t familiar with this epic game, VALORANT is a 5v5 character-based tactical first-person shooter (FPS) for PC where precise gunplay meets unique agent abilities. Developed by the makers of League of Legends, Riot Games, the main game mode focuses on Search and Destroy where one team attacks by planting a bomb, and the other defends by avoiding detonation.
