Can I listen to Bluetooth at the same time as my game?

Although you can have a 2.4GHz & BT connection at the same time, the Nova 5 only allows the ability to listen to one audio stream at a time. You can easily switch between 2.4GHz & BT by pressing the Quick-Switch button on the headset.

Does the microphone still work when it's retracted?

The microphone will still pick up sound while retracted, but since it's a directional mic, it needs to be extended and in close proximity to your mouth to produce the best-quality sound.

What happens when someone calls my phone?

If you're on an active 2.4GHz connection and receive a phone call, you will hear a notification in the headset to answer. By pressing the Quick-Switch button, you will answer the call, and the headset will switch to Bluetooth mode. Once the call is done, the Nova 5 will automatically switch back to your game audio.

Can I have separate audio presets for 2.4GHz and Bluetooth?

Yes! With the Arctis Companion app, you're able to select a preset separately for both your gaming 2.4GHz audio and on-the-go Bluetooth audio.

Can I use other headsets on the Arctis Companion App?

Unfortunately at this time, only the Nova 5 headset and the Arctis GameBuds™ are compatible with the Arctis Companion App. Head over to our Arctis Companion App page for more information.
