Make sure you have a top loadout for some of the best weapons in Black Ops 7 multiplayer.

Since the days of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, weapon loadouts have played a crucial role in multiplayer. Your loadout for a specific weapon can determine its playstyle and overall strength, making it one of the most important elements in the game. As expected, Black Ops 7 has brought back the loadout system, which runs through the Gunsmith in multiplayer. Black Ops 7 allows you to equip anywhere from five to eight attachments on a weapon, giving you a complete loadout when you're done.
However, as is usually the case, figuring out which attachments to use on a weapon can be challenging. After all, there are dozens of attachments for each individual gun in Black Ops 7, and all of the attachments help out your weapon in some way, shape, or form. You also have to determine which weapons are worth your time, as not all weapons are created equal in Call of Duty.
To help you figure out which weapons and attachments you should use in Black Ops 7, check out the guide below for our list of the five best loadouts in multiplayer.
First up, we have the Dravec 45 submachine gun, which has been the top option across the board so far in Black Ops 7. The Dravec 45 is an extremely versatile weapon, being able to kill enemies effectively at both close range and long range. This gives you some additional freedom when making its loadout, as you don't have to hone in on a specific stat.
Our loadout uses five attachments, which improve all four of the gun's primary stats. As a note, we're not using an optic on the Dravec 45, but if you prefer that, you can use the Gunfighter Wildcard for extra attachments. You can see what the loadout is below:
Barrel: 19" Horizon Fluted Barrel
Magazine: Gator Extended Mag
Rear Grip: Herald-Z1 Grip
Stock: EAM Heritage Stock
Fire Mods: Accelerated Recoil System
Next is the M15 Mod 0, which has surprisingly been one of, if not the best, assault rifles in Black Ops 7 so far. The steady AR features very little recoil, a great fire rate, and moderate damage that you can improve with some key attachments. While the M15 doesn't have the greatest mobility in the world, we're also going to be fixing that with an attachment.
Here's our recommended M15 Mod 0 loadout:
Muzzle: Redwell 5.56 Compensator
Barrel: 16.5" Fusion Barrel
Underbarrel: Axis Shift Vertical Foregrip
Stock: Telescopic Stock
Fire Mods: Buffer Spring
The MXR-17 is another solid assault rifle in Black Ops 7 that features an entirely different playstyle from the M15 Mod 0. Drawing inspiration from weapons like the Rampart 17 and AN-94, the MXR-17 is a slow-firing AR that packs a serious punch. You need to be accurate with the gun due to its slow fire rate, but if you can manage to hit a few shots, you'll mow enemies down from just about anywhere on a map.
Once again, we're omitting an optic from our loadout for the MXR-17. However, if you don't like its iron sights, you can throw on an optic and use the Gunfighter Wildcard for the extra attachment spots. Here's our loadout for the MXR-17:

Barrel: 18" Rift-M7 Barrel
Underbarrel: Lateral Precision Grip
Rear Grip: Aria Assault Grip
Laser: 3MW Motion Strike Laser
The Razor 9MM might not seem like a great submachine gun when you first start using it in Black Ops 7. It's not too strong of a weapon without any attachments, as it has a tremendous amount of recoil. However, after you level it up and unlock some attachments, you'll find that the Razor 9MM is one of the deadliest weapons in multiplayer, at least at close range.
We're choosing to use the Gunfighter Wildcard for this loadout, as the Razor 9MM needs extra help with its recoil. We've also chosen to go with an optic for the Razor, but if you prefer the iron sights, feel free to swap it out for a barrel attachment. Here's our loadout for the Razor 9MM:

Finally, we have the classic M8A1. In Black Ops 7, the weapon is classified as a marksman rifle, so you'll find it acts a little differently than other assault rifles in multiplayer. However, you won't be able to tell too much of a difference when it comes to damage range and accuracy. The M8A1 is able to one-burst enemies quite frequently, as long as you can stay on target with your initial shot.
For our loadout, we've opted to improve damage, bullet velocity, and accuracy above all else, but we also threw in some help to mobility. Here's our M8A1 loadout:

Barrel: 18" Ionic-8 Barrel
Rear Grip: Instinct Grip
Laser: 3MW Motion Strike Laser
And that does it for our five best loadouts in Black Ops 7. We're sure this list will need to be updated as new weapons are added to multiplayer and weapon balancing patches come through, but for now, these are your top options.
