Battlefield 6 offers superbly satisfying sniper gameplay and an incredible sniper loadout to boot.

Since the early days of Battlefield, sniping has been one of the most popular ways to play the game. With the large-scale maps, huge player counts, and effective sniping tools at every player's disposal, using a sniper rifle is a rite of passage for every Battlefield soldier. In Battlefield 6, sniping is back and better than ever, as you now have more ways to kill enemies than ever before.

Sniping in Battlefield 6 is also highly satisfying, as the animations and audio when eliminating an opponent, especially with a headshot, are top-notch. If you want to make sure you have everything you need to hit headshots and down opponents in Battlefield 6 consistently, you'll need the top-of-the-line sniper loadout in multiplayer.

Below, you can find our sniper of choice, all of the attachments you should equip on it, and other key elements of the loadout you'll want to have in Battlefield 6.

Best Sniper And Class in Battlefield 6 for Sniping

Before we get into the weeds about the loadout and its attachments, we need to determine what sniper rifle we're using, and what class to build the loadout in.

Naturally, as there's currently only one sniper rifle in Battlefield 6, the M2010 ESR is our sniper of choice. This sniper pick could obviously change with the full release of the game, but the M2010 ESR is a solid weapon that could easily remain the top sniper in multiplayer after launch. While its damage output does require you to hit consistent headshots if you want to kill enemies quickly, that's true of any sniper in Battlefield.

Next, what class are we using for this loadout? Well, while you could mix and match your weapon and class, that's not recommended when using a sniper. So, our loadout is using the Recon class in Battlefield 6.

Recon is far and away the best class for a sniper in Battlefield 6, as it's the signature weapon of the class. Snipers gain a slew of benefits when paired with Recon, including the following:

  • Stabilize aim by holding breath and rechambering quicker between shots when using a sniper.

  • The Auto-Shot ability, which allows you to look at hostiles while in ADS and mark them as spotted.

  • Sniper Field Spec, which has four levels that include the ability to fatally kill an enemy with a headshot, and gives you a UAV Call-In ability.

If you're adamant against using the Recon class with the sniper, we recommend going with the Assault class. This gives you two Adrenaline Injectors you can use to immediately heal and get into the action after being damaged. You can also equip the M87A1 shotgun as a secondary, which is arguably the best weapon in Battlefield 6.

Best M2010 ESR Loadout In Battlefield 6

With the sniper and class of choice out of the way, let's get into the loadout itself. Battlefield 6 allows players to allocate 100 points worth of attachments for every weapon in the game, and this opens a ton of opportunities for the M2010 ESR.

You can see the entire loadout we've designed for the sniper below:

  • Muzzle: Flash Hider

  • Barrel: 26" Carbon

  • Underbarrel: Low-Profile Stubby

  • Magazine: 5RND Magazine

  • Ammunition: Tungsten Core

  • Ergonomics: DLC Bolt

  • Right Accessory: Range Finder

  • Scope: S-VPS 6.00x

This M2010 ESR loadout aims to improve its headshot damage for easier one-shot kills as well as increase its overall mobility and handling.

The loadout starts with the Flash Hider to reduce information revealed when firing, along with the 26" Carbon, which adds some extra damage. Then, the Low-Profile Stubby and 5RND Magazine are intended to improve handling.

The Tungsten Core ammunition is where the extra headshot damage comes into play. With this ammunition, you should see more one-shot kills with the M2010 ESR.

Next, the DLC Bolt allows you to rechamber when aiming, which is great when you're firing at opponents from a long range. Speaking of long range, the Range Finder accessory is one of the best attachments in all of Battlefield 6. This allows your gun to automatically zero in on a target when you're aiming. This basically makes it so you can account for bullet drop without having to cycle through all of the zero ranges with your sniper.

Finally, the loadout is completed by the S-VPS 6.00x, which is the default scope for the M2010 ESR. You can equip whatever scope you feel the most comfortable with, though.

With that, you now have a full loadout for the M2010 ESR sniper in Battlefield 6. This loadout, along with the Recon class, will allow you to maximize your effectiveness while sniping on any map in multiplayer.
