It was particularly awesome to see Norbert, who goes by Zack, one of our returning fans. Last year, the 18-year-old FPS enthusiast beat out everyone else, reaching the high score in dramatic fashion.
"I saw another player score that was so high that I couldn’t imagine it was possible," Zack told SteelSeries. "I was a bit mad because I am a competitive player and want to see yourself on the top. I tried even harder and finally beat this guy by only 2 points. It is so random that I won."
A Counter-Strike 2 enthusiast, Zack trains to improve his accuracy in the game; he feels it's "mandatory" and results in feeling better and stronger when playing on the actual servers. He trains five times a week, and tells us that Counter-Strike demands this kind of consistency to meet its demanding skill requirements.
"I played CS for 8 years starting when I was 10. I remember my uncle bought me CS:GO and I was playing against bots on my old laptop because real players were too good for me," Zack said. "Later I got my own computer, and I started to think about getting better and better because I like this game and I feel so good when I dominate the lobby!”
