Best One-Shot Kill HDR Loadout in Warzone
The vaunted HDR sniper rifle has made its long-awaited return in Call of Duty: Warzone, and it has a loadout that can one-shot kill enemies with ease.

If you’re looking to one-tap enemies with a sniper in Warzone, you need to use this new HDR loadout.
After years and years of lying dormant in a vault on Verdansk, the famous HDR sniper rifle has returned in Call of Duty: Warzone. The Season 3 update in Warzone introduced four fan-favorite weapons from the original days of the map back in 2020, and the HDR might just be the crowning jewel of them all.
The first meta sniper in Warzone, the HDR, is back and better than ever in 2025. It has a one-shot kill potential from almost anywhere on the map, giving it a massive edge over nearly every other sniper rifle in the class. However, this doesn’t mean the HDR still doesn’t need a little help with its loadout in Warzone.
To get the most out of the HDR on Verdansk or any other map, you need to equip its strongest set of attachments.
Best HDR Loadout in Warzone
There are a couple of different ways you can go with your HDR loadout. The most basic route is to simply use five attachments and equip a Wildcard, such as Perk Greed to carry an extra perk on the loadout. However, you can also choose to equip eight attachments using the Gunfighter Wildcard, allowing you to max out your HDR’s potential but limiting the loadout in other ways.
It’s ultimately up to you what decision to make, but we have included two different loadouts below. One uses the default five attachments while the other has the maximum eight attachments equipped.
Non-Gunfighter HDR Loadout
Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
Rear Grip: Commando Grip
Laser: Target Laser
Fire Mods: 108MM Overpressured

Gunfighter HDR Loadout
Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel: Reinforced Barrel
Underbarrel: Lightweight Bipod
Magazine: Fast Mag I
Rear Grip: Commando Grip
Stock: Infiltrator Stock
Laser: Target Laser
Fire Mods: 108MM Overpressured

As you can see from both loadouts, the three attachments we added on with the Gunfighter loadout are the Lightweight Bipod, the Fast Mag I, and the Infiltrator Stock. While these are great attachments, the first five that you want to make sure you equip can be found on the Non-Gunfighter loadout.
Starting off, we have the Monolithic Suppressor, which makes its long-awaited return to Warzone with Season 3 as well. You can only unlock the Monolithic Suppressor by progressing the Season 3 Battle Pass to page seven and spending a token on it. This unlocks the muzzle attachment for all weapons in Warzone (aside from the AS VAL). The Monolithic Suppressor boosts your bullet velocity and damage range as well as keeps your shots silent and off the enemy’s radar.
Moving on from the muzzle, the Reinforced Barrel offers even more bullet velocity and damage range, while the 108MM Overpressured Fire Mod maxes out our bullet velocity. For mobility purposes, we’ve equipped the Commando Grip to improve aim down sights speed, sprint-to-fire time, and dive/slide-to-fire speeds.
Finally, the last main attachment on the HDR is the Target Laser. This reduces idle sway when aiming as well as increases aim walking steadiness.
If you decide to go with the Gunfighter loadout for the HDR, you also have access to the Lightweight Bipod for another reduction in aiming idle sway. Then, the Fast Mag I improves your mobility and lowers the bullets in each magazine, while the Infiltrator Stock increases aim walking movement speed.
All together, this is a fantastic set of loadouts for the HDR, and you really can’t go wrong with either of them in Warzone. Which one you choose depends on your playstyle, but both of them can effectively one-shot kill fully-armored enemies if you tap them with a headshot.
That alone makes the HDR a worthwhile addition to any loadout in Warzone, but you also have to factor in the nostalgia while using it. This was the OG sniper in Warzone, so how can you not throw it on while running around Verdansk again?
