Dota 2 Short Film Entries - Best Picks
Don't miss out on these awesome Dota 2 short films!

Another TI, another year of excellent Dota 2 Short Films. Let's check out some of the best entries.
Every year, Dota 2, Valve's premiere MOBA game, hosts a Short Film Contest. With a high prize of $25,000, animators and filmmakers have plenty of motivation to let creativity flow.
Typically showcasing funny and relatable situations happening to our favorite Dota heroes, there are always memorable and endearing entries to check out.
We're going to highlight the entries here so you can check them out and if it's not too late, vote on the Steam Workshop.
Best animation: Icy Silence
When it comes to animation quality, this one definitely takes the cake. It's like a Blizzard or Valve-level into cinematic.
It does fall a little flat with the story and ending though, but still very good.
Superb humor: Grudge
Great story told within a minute and a half. Also, when Kez pulls out his keyboard... and the stacking Dazzle who is so giddy about it. This is the kind of humor told through Dota mechanics we want to see.
My favorite: Dead Inside
I think this is the winner right there. It has the best combination of wholesome, humor, good animation, cleverness, and connection to actual Dota mechanics but in a clever way. Plus that Bounty Hunter is a cute twist.
Most personality: Dream Team
In this one I don't think the story is quite that strong or tied up completely, but I love to see how the canonically anti-social and depressed Drow needs to be encouraged to fight with the team. Also probably some of the better if not best action sequences from Marci in this one.
Think outside the box: Game Rules
I love this one for the creative humor. What if one of the heroes got access to the cheat module?
Best fight: Last Stand
This one definitely has the most epic fight scene. Loved it! Would make for a good movie.
