Everyday millions of people like me live and breathe on Discord servers, connecting with friends not just to game, but also to share anything and everything happening with them. Connecting on our passions is easier and more fun than ever!
Are you wondering whether Discord Nitro is actually worth it? I'll list out some of the biggest perks that come with it, and let you know some of my personal experiences using them.
It's a nearly everyday instance. One of your friends joins the game session late, but they want to join in and heckle (meaning, support) the rest of you. You keep them involved with a quick Discord video stream.
Or, you're taking a food break, but want to spectate a match your friends participate in.
A big part of hanging out in Discord voice chat is sharing video. Although I've done some streaming on Twitch, I don't really fire it up that often anymore. It's so much easier to just instantly start showing video to a few of your buddies in voice.
Every time I've had Discord Nitro, my friends would ask specifically me to stream: "oh, give us that glorious 4k!"

Additionally, you can use a two-color theme, as well as set custom emoji in your About Me and custom message. How's that for personalization?
With Nitro, you can also make a unique profile per server. This can be very useful when you're hanging out with various groups, especially if it's a community devoted to a different type of game.
I get bored of the usual Dark, Light, or even Ash themes. I spend a lot of time looking at the Discord app, so it might as well look pleasing to my eye.
There's a big variety of awesome colors that apply to your Discord window, no matter which server you're in. That's what I love about it; I find my favorite theme, and then it makes me feel more at home.
