SteelSeries, a leading manufacturer of innovative professional gaming gear, today announced participation at the Intel Summer Championships, taking place July 5-9, 2006 at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas.
The Intel Summer Championships is a part of The World Series of Video Games (WSVG), the first international video game competition circuit on multiple gaming platforms. The WSVG circuit consists of eight national and international events where the top two winners of each category will be flown to the final tournament to be held later in the year where ultimate video game champions will be crowned.
SteelSeries will invite all participants and spectators to take a break from the stressful chores of hardcore gaming, and have a good time at the SteelSeries Summer Break booth. After serious chilling and relaxation in the SteelSeries patio furniture, conveniently placed in the shade of palm trees and near the SteelSeries pool, gamers are invited to get hands-on experience with the SteelPad QcK heavy – the latest SteelPad QcK model soon to be released worldwide.
To celebrate the launch of SteelPad QcK heavy gamers will also have the chance to win a super-sized SteelPad QcK heavy mouse pad – the largest SteelPad ever created. The XXXXXL-sized pad provides 2500 square inches of playing surface (dimensions are 120 x 135cm / 47.2 x 53.1 in).
Gamers who need to stock up on professional gaming gear before the official tournaments kick off, can also shop at discounted prices at the booth.
